Founded In 1980 

The studio started after I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. Being educated in New York City, I came to south Florida. I Realized a need for professional music instruction in the area so I developed a curriculum that emphasized my education in New York. What I have to offer is the best education from the most notable music professors New York has to offer.

   Mr. Leighty holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Mannes College of Music and a Masters of Music degree from the Sarah Lawrence College.

   Having attended College in New York, Mr. Leighty relocated to South Florida, where he founded a school that would promote professional music instruction to the highest degree.

   Mr. Leighty is of the firm belief that a solid musical foundation produces excellent results.

   The studio offers instruction on guitar and piano. We offer a wide variety of courses to fit all age groups and skill levels.

If you wish to meet the owner and tour the facility, please call the studio for appointment times. Open house hours are usually scheduled on Saturday afternoons.
